Blogging is not only about writing a post or sharing your thoughts. It is a journey in which a blogger learns and gets numerous experiences. Now a days, the efforts of bloggers are being acknowledged by fashion and beauty industry and even media. As I have shared with you about the invitation which I received from " Depilex College of Cosmetology, Lahore. So last week, I attended a one day makeup workshop organized by Depilex College of Cosmetology, Lahore. Lets move toward the details of the event. I tried to cover the whole event by pictures as a picture paints a thousand words. :)
About Depilex College of Cosmetology and Musarrat Misbah:
Massarat Misbah, who even don't know her? The credit to provide a unique platform "Depilex College of Cosmetology" to students who want to obtain excellence in makeup artistry goes to her. Moreover, two new ventures "Sante' The Salon" and " Depilex Men" has been added to her Portfolio. DCC operating in Lahore at 25 Ali Block Main Garden Town is designed in order to provide opportunity to all those who are interested in pursuing the career in Art and Science of Cosmetology.
The workshop was organized by Depilex Group of companies in order to celebrate glorious success of 35 years. Fashion / Beauty/ Lifestyle Bloggers from all over Pakistan were invited. So, it was not only a workshop but also a chance to meet all the beautiful blogger friends. So, I was really excited to see my buddies in "Beauty Blogger's Paradise". A place where you have the experts with all makeup accessories and plenty of cosmetics .... Ohhh what would you call such place other than "Beauty Blogger Paradise". Here you can see the environment of the work place. Isn't it Cool???
The best thing I noticed about Depilex, the emphasis on punctuality and time management. Event started at sharp 12:00 as they mentioned on invitation. No doubt!!! time management and professionalism are competitive advantage of Depilex.
You might guess who was there to welcomed us. Yes !!! The true example of gorgeousness and grace , none other than "Masarrat Misbah" along with her beautiful daughter " Ridah Misbah". I must say that Ridah took decency and humbleness in inheritance from her mother.

I am a big fan of Masarrat Misbah. As, nothing inspires me more than a soft heart and down to earth attitude. Fortunately, Ridah is also blessed with these qualities just like her mother. So, now I am a fan of her as well. :)

Lets move back to the event. The workshop started with a brief introduction of Depilex College of Cosmetology. Ridah herself greeted and briefed all bloggers. A video describing 35 years long progressive journey of Depilex was also shown. After this Mam Masarrat Misbah greeted every one and share her precious words with bloggers.

After Introductory session, a charming instructor named "Isma" started the lesson of the day. She was teaching us with all grace and a patience. Yes!!! patience :) As there was a model to whom she was applying makeup and at the same time she was answering our question. OHHH HATS Off to Isma..... She answered each and every question with a friendly gesture.

She created a look for Day time (No makeup look) and than magically converted it for a party (Night) look. No doubt Isma is amazingly talented and taught us many new things.
There was a lunch and a tea break also. It seemed we were school girls ....as in break everyone kept on busy in discussions and chit chat.

After taking class, now it was our turn to show our capabilities and hand on practice. For this purpose, we got separate trays consisting on all essentials.

Isma was examining every individual and was pointing out the mistakes. She was guiding us and telling us the right way to do. Her attention and concern won our hearts. No, doubt our makeup skills enhanced significantly after taking the class. Our feedback was being recorded. Mam Massarat Misbah gave attention to every individual and not only this, also blessed us with her valuable comments and appreciated us. How generous she is...... O Man !!! I really love her.
At the end we got certificates. Mam herself and Rida Misbah (A perfect combo) gave us certificates along with their lovely comments.

Overall it was a great learning opportunity for all of us. This workshop not only polished our makeup skills but also gave us exposure and chance to meet " Guru " of beauty industry.
