10.  Ishq Positive:
Directed By Noor Bukhari staring Noor Bukhari and Wali Hamid Khan film released back in July. Film's music got immense appreciation from critics and it also got excellent remarks about cinematography. But film failed to show any mark at the Boxoffice and managed to gross mere 80 Lacs approx. Film was produced by KSL Productions and distributed by Eveready Pictures. Disaster


9. Teri Meri Love Story:
Produced and Distributed by Summit Entertainment, it was first production of the Summit Entertainment but it failed miserably. Film had fresh cast with names of Mohib Mirza coming back after mega success of Bachaana and Ushna Shah debuting. Film managed to collected 85 Lacs under the direction of Jawad Bashir. Washout


8. Sawal 700 Crore Dollars Ka:
Produced by JJ Productions and Directed By Jamshed Jan Muhammad Sawal 700 Crore Dollars Ka released on Eid-ul-Fitr and was leading local release over the Eid. Distributed by Eveready Pictures film got shadowed by the wave of Sultan which had collected 33 Crore approx. Sawal 700 Crore Dollars Ka Staring Ali Mohiuddin, Javed Sheikh and Qurat-ul-Ain in lead roles grossed mere 1.65 Crore approx. Flop


7. Mah-e-Mir:
Another Eveready Pictures release Mah-e-Mir became a disappointment at boxoffice. Film had very big cast having the names of super stars like Fahad Mustafa, Iman Ali and Sanam Saeed In Lead roles. Directed by Anjum Shehzad film was a dark subject at Boxoffice and saw dark results. Film managed to gross 2.5 Crore approx which is much low given the names of cast. FLOP



6. Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay:
Released On Eid-ul-Azha opposite two big films, this Geo Films releases collected 6.25 Core approx which is a fair result. Film had debutante Feroze Khan and Sajjal Aly in lead roles and it's music got bumper response over the social media. It's only Geo Film's release in top 10, directed by Anjum Shehzad film was average grosser at ticket window. Average




5. Maalik:

Directed, Produced and Written by Ashir Azeem, Maalik was most controversial film of the year. Film first released back in April, a Week before the release of mega film FAN. Film managed 4.05 Crore approx before it got banned. Later ban was lifted and film saw rerelease on 26th August and has added further 2.6 Crore approx. Film is still running at cinemas and should end it's total around 7 Crore approx. Released under the banner of Footprint Maalik is a HIT.


4. Bachaana:
Directed by Nasir Khan, staring Mohib Mirza, Sanam Saeed and Adeel Hashmi, Bachaana was a mega success released back in February. Film was distributed by Eveready Pictures and Produced by Rizwan Saeed and raked in massive 10 Crore approx. Film had seen mega social media campaign! Super Hit


3. Ho Mann Jahaan:
Ho Mann Jahaan was the first released of 2016 and had a very big cast featuring names like Shehryar Munawar Siddiqui, Mahira Khan and Adeel Hussain. Film's track Shakar Wandan was "Mehndi Chartbuster" of the year. Even though film got mixed response from the critics yet it managed a long and solid run. ARY Film's release directed by Asim Raza collected 16.25 Crore approx. Super Hit



2. Janaan:
Another ARY release, Janaan released on Eid-ul-Azha opposite biggie Actor In Law. Film comprised of a very fresh Cast i.e. Bilal Ashraf, Armeena Khan and Ali Rehman Khan. Directed by Azfar Jafri and Produced by IRK Films it has managed 17.5 Crore approx at Boxoffice emerging a super success. Super Hit!



1. Actor In Law:
Actor In Law has emerged a bumper success of the year by grossing close to 24 Crore approx and beating films like Waar despite clash with two other films. It was first film of Urdu 1 Pictures and distributed by Eveready Pictures film broke many records of local releases. Film consisted of solid cast with names from across the border too. Film stared Fahad Mustafa, Mehwish Hayat and Om Puri. Blockbuster
