When it comes to music no one can ever beat Malika-e- Taranum Noor Jehan who has sung numerous melodies, swept numerous awards and won acclaim across the globe. EMI Pakistan Limited known for its biggest music library recently held premiere of a short film " Gul-E- Daudi" (The Chrysanthemum): The Tribute To Noor Jehan directed by Umar Riaz who has earlier been nominated for Student Academy Awards for his work "Last Remarks". He has done many more works including music videos with Ali Sethi and Zeb.
Coming towards short film. it was 15 minutes long extravaganza and a fiction based story on the music of Madam Noor Jehan. This marvelous red carpet premiere was held at beautiful Luxus Grand Cinemas On Friday , 23rd September 2016.
When an event is a red carpet, then it is bound to be held by many celebrities including Adeel Hashmi, Mehak Ali, Jimmy Khan, Zebunnisa Bangash, Qasim Jafri, Umar Adil and many more. Premiere was also attended by many people from media and bloggers.
What was more special about this evet. Well, It was held on the birthday evening of the the legendary Noor Jehan and it started with the speech of Mr. Zeeshan Chaudhary (GM EMI). After the screening there was discussion held with filmmaker and the select cast. This prestigious event was organized by EMI Pakistan and PR and media management done by Transmedia Digital Solutions.
