It’s been long time that I posted anything related to beauty. In this long time whenever I came across my vanity all my cosmetics complained me of being ignored. It’s not that I am ignoring my adorable babies, just that I am lazy and there are many other things which always divert my attention. So here I am with the review of Sleek Makeup Blush by 3 in Lace. “Sleek” is one of my favorite drugstore brand and the major reason is its sophisticated, well-designed black packing. Seriously! I am in love.

After drooling much I finally placed my hands on Sleek Makeup Blush by 3 in Lace. I still remember what a shiny day it was. When first time I touched it. MARVELOUS. Alright enough with drama. :p
Sleek Makeup Blush by 3 in Lace contains three different shades, two matte and a shimmery. All three shades are named after laces Crochet, Guipure and Chantilly. Cute? Isn’t it?
This orange blush is named as Crochet and the charming pink blush is called Chantilly. Both are matte shades, texture wise, both the matte blushes are a little chalky but not so much that will end up being bothersome. Two or three layers are enough to build a colour and voila you are ready to rock the floor.

The charismatic shimmery blush is called Guipure. It is not too shimmery and will not turn you into a disco ball. It just adds a beautiful sheen instead of chunky glitter. For a girl with medium skin tone, it is not enough pigmented. It will work as a high lighter but you have to apply Chantilly (The Pink Shade) and then apply it to add sheen (Even I do the same). It will look ethereal on someone with fair skin tone.
All things considered the Sleek blushes have a decent stay time of about 4 to 6 hours in an air conditioned environment. In the sun it may last for 3 to 5 hours. Staying power depends on skin type also. Usually staying power of blushers is low for oily or combination skin.

If you love blushes and want to have a decent collection of two mattes and a shimmery in a single palette then this surely is something that you must buy! Sleek Makeup Blush by 3 in Lace is cost effective option as in price of two single blush you may get three in the form of a palette.

ReplyDeleteI was drooling over this since long but was a little hesitant to get it because the shades look so loud in the pan. But after reading your review and these swatches now I am sure that the shades are very subtle. Great review.
